So i’ve got myself a Torpedo Cab M+.
It’s cool, it does what i wanted which is no matter where i play and what kind of microphones are available, and how loud the Soundguy wants me on stage,
It always sounds exactly the same.
I’ve bought some IRs from Ownhammer and they sound excellent. But they came in a gazillion different kind of Sample Rates reaching from 44khz to 96khz,
and i’ve beeen wondering which one i should use for my Torpedo box. I’m not sure if ‘more is more’ in this case or what the difference would be in terms of Sound.
So i’ve done some research and in the end i found out, that the two-note Torpedo Cab M+ has a internal Converter and supports 16 or 24 bits, from 44,1 kHz to 96 kHz and internally converts it all to 96khz.
So that means you can use any of the Sample Rates provided by Ownhammer.
So that’s that. maybe it helps.

The main reason for me to keep making music after so many years.
Creating something from nothing. It means when i write a new Song, even if it’s only a part,
some cool Riff with drums and some shaky lyrics on it i know that when i got up this morning,
This didn’t exist yet.
And now it does.
How cool is that?
